Movember
As you may know, due to COVID, we haven’t hosted a Movember event in a while. But this year, we are bringing it back and our team goal is to bring it back bigger and stronger than ever!
Movember raises millions each year for Men’s Health awareness, specifically prostate cancer and mental health. The goal this year is to raise $10,000 through our revamped team – “Marda For Movember”. Now we know we are not all from Marda or associated with Marda but Marda is more than just an area on a map – we are a community of people coming together in, whatever capacity we can, to make a difference. Don’t get us wrong, there will be plenty of local love on hand for the events including Marda Loop Barber Shop for some shaves and likely some local celebs!
What exactly are we planning?
2023 Marda For Movember Launch Event
When: Wednesday November 1st, starting at 6:00pm
Where: Marda Loop Brewing Company
Drink specials: Taylor Made Moscow Mules and Old Fashioneds (Made by our very own Taylor D!) – Plus, we will be tapping a limited-edition cask that night!
Food specials: The Brew Crew and OUR kitchen will endeavour to deliver 3 types of amazing meat specials (sous vide in our very own brew kettle).
Entertainment: Sounds Unlimited will be on hand all night spinning your favourite tunes plus the boys from Marda Loop Barber Shop will be set up and ready to give you that razor-fine shave!
Cost for Event: Any donation to the team is greatly appreciated but not necessary!
How can you help?

Basically, get a shave, grow whatever you can grow from November 1st to the finale event on Thursday, November 30th, attend the finale with your glorious stash and our celebrity judges will decide the winners and the losers!! And yes, there will be prizes!
